“Lotus ”


Description: A meditation on the evolving nature of celebrity, this piece features an acrylic lotus with a 3D-printed stem, delicately balanced on a ball bearing atop a Buddha’s hand. Once a symbol of purity and transcendence, the lotus reflects the way celebrities were once revered as untouchable icons. However, as the flower turns, it reveals another side—one shaped by scrutiny, duality, and contradiction. Just as the lotus rises from the mud yet remains unstained, celebrities exist in a space between admiration and exposure, between devotion and disillusionment.
